KPJ Puteri Specialist Hospital is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a 30km fun ride event. This exciting event is open to cyclists of all levels and will take place on JUNE 10 , 2023 (SATURDAY) at PUTERI HARBOUR, ISKANDAR PUTERI. To participate, all you need to do is buy your tickets now for only RM30!
As part of your ticket purchase, you'll receive a commemorative jersey and medal to remember your experience. Plus, you'll be able to enjoy light food and refreshments in the event to keep you fueled and energized.

SAFETY & RULES:

• All participants must wear helmets throughout the ride.
• Participants must follow the rules of the road and ride in a safe and courteous manner.
• In the event of an emergency, first aid will be available at designated points along the route.

RULES & REGULATION:

1. This event is open to all. 
2. Only registered Participants shall join the ride. 
3. All Participants taking part in this event are deemed to participate at their own risk. 
4. The minimum age for participation for this event is 12 years old at the date of the event. No admission for child aged 12 to 16 years old unless accompanied by an adult aged 21 years old and above. Each child must be accompanied by one adult and the same adult cannot accompany multiple children.
5. The Organizer reserves the right to close entries before the deadline without any notice once the race quota is full.
6. Completion and submission of the registration form and payment of fees represents the Participant’s agreement to abide by the rules and regulations of KPJ PUTERI 30 YEARS OF CARE FUN RIDE 2023. 
7. Participants shall ensure the accuracy of all details keyed in during the registration process. Once the registration form has been duly processed, no change of details shall be allowed.
8. There shall be no refund of entry fees for those who, for whatever reason, eventually do not take part in the ride.
9. All Participants shall comply with the instructions of a crew / marshal / traffic officer / medical officer during the event.
10. A Participant shall refrain from taking part in the ride if he / she has been medically advised otherwise or may be physically unfit to do so on the day of the event due to any reason.
11. There will be a first aid medical team at the main venue on event day. Any Participant requiring further medical attention may be referred to the nearest hospital / clinic and all medical costs shall be borne by the Participant.
12. All Participants are advised to have their own Personal Accident / Health insurance coverage accordingly. KPJ PUTERI 30 YEARS OF CARE FUN RIDE 2023 does not provide any insurance coverage for its Participants. 
13. Organisers reserve the right to change, modify of amend the flag-off time, date, venue, route and distance if exceptional circumstances so demand.
14. Jersey sizes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
15. It is strictly prohibited to change jersey sizes during the race kit collection process.
16. Organisers reserves the right to use any photographs (including those of the Participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other recorded form of this event for any legitimate purposes. 
17. KPJ PUTERI 30 YEARS OF CARE FUN RIDE 2023 committee and organisers hereinafter have taken all due care and caution in preparation and organization of the event. Due to the nature of event, organisers/ sponsors / event committees accept no responsibility of any kind direct or indirect for any accident / injury / death / loss of property before, during and after the said event.
18. Organizers’ reserve the right to modify or substitute any of the Rules & Regulations and/or Terms & Conditions from time to time as they deem fit. If there’s ambiguity in any of these provisions, interest of all Participants. Any amendments to these Rules & Regulations and/or Terms & Conditions will be updated on the Official Facebook Page of KPJ Puteri Specialist Hospital. 
19. Participants shall bring their own bicycle and cycling helmet to participate in the fun ride. Any type of bicycle (road bike / MTB / foldie / fat bike etc.) is welcomed.  
20. It is the Participants’ responsibility to ensure that his / her bicycle is in a suitable and safe condition for this ride.
21. A cycling helmet is COMPULSORY to be worn by all Participants at all time during ride. Organizers have the right to stop / remove any Participant without a cycling helmet from joining the ride.
22. Every Participant shall attach the event’s plate number securely at the front of his/her bicycle and remain so throughout the ride.
23. For participants below 16 years of age ("child"), an adult participant must accompany them during the ride, and only one child is allowed per adult. Additionally, only individuals aged 12 years old and above are permitted to participate in this event.
24. A Participant may not ride in this event whilst under the influence of alcohol or any drug or medication that prevents or might prevent a Participant from properly controlling his or her bicycle. 
25. This is a FUN RIDE and not a competition. Slow down when necessary and do not rush your ride. 
26. Practice good cycling ethics and look out for one another. 
27. Keep a safe distance from other cyclist at all times, as some may be inexperienced. 
28. There will be ONE (1) water stations along the 30km course including at the Finish Line.
