Terms & Conditions

Please read all the terms and conditions ("Terms") carefully. Each individual who registers to participate in PRIME Trail Run 2023 ("Event") (and, where applicable, in the case of a participant below the age of 18 years, the participant's parent, guardian or legal representative) ("Participant") declares and acknowledges to have read, understood and agreed to the Terms below and undertakes to comply with and be bound by the same.

  1. PRIME Trail Run 2023 ('Event') is held by Paragon Vest Sdn Bhd ('Organizer').
  2. The Event will be held on 22 July 2023 ("Date") at Kem Anugerah Alam, Batangsi, Semenyih (“Venue”). The Organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel the Event at any time.
  3. Eligibility:
    1. The Event is open to all and each participant attends the Event on his or her own free will. Age qualification will be taken as of Event Day.
    2. The 10KM & 18KM is open to participants of age 16 and above.
    3. Participants of age 16 years old and below MUST be accompanied by at least ONE adult participant of 18 years old and above of the same category who will always be responsible for their safety.

Event Registration

  1. By signing up for and providing any information, personal or otherwise, to gain access and to participate in the Event or any activities relating to the Event, the participant is deemed to have given express permission to the Organizer and Event partners and sponsors (if any) to use such personal information for marketing, statistical and planning purposes.
  2. By signing up for and providing any information, personal or otherwise, the participant agrees to provide his/her name and personal details to the insurance partner of the event for the purchase of Group Personal Accident Insurance (compulsory by the Sports Commissioner).
  3. The Organizer reserves the right to contact the participant from time to time by any means. Any notice sent to the email address registered with the Organiser shall be deemed as received by the participant.
  4. If a participant provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete, the Organizer may suspend or terminate the participant's registration and refuse any and all current or future use of any components of the Event. There will be no fee refund upon such suspension or termination of the participant's registration.
  5. The Organizer will not entertain or be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete, inaccurate or multiple Registration Data in the Event registration form completed by the participant.
  6. Once the participant’s registration has been duly processed, there will be no refund for any participant who does not eventually take part in the Event for whatever reason.
  7. Substitution and swapping of categories are NOT allowed, so careful selection of eligible category according to age qualification is advices. Re-registrations does not entitle the Participant to any form of refund.
  8. All T-Shirt measurements are subject to 0.79 +/- inch tolerance. Substitution and exchanging of T-Shirt sizes are NOT allowed after registration.
  9. All colour, design and material of merchandises are subject to change without notice.
  10. There will be no refund on registration fees if the Event is cancelled for reason of force majeure i.e., due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organizer (including but not limited to haze, storm, rain, inclement weather, wind, act of God, terrorism, or other conditions) and which in the Organizer’s opinion, renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the Event.


Virtual Run

  1. Runners are required to complete the run in ONE (1) go.
  2. Runners who fail to complete the run and/or submit their result will not be eligible to receive the finisher entitlements. (i.e Event Tee & Finisher Medal)
  3. Running progress is to be tracked using any running app / gadget.
  4. Screenshot of results for submission should contain the following information: distance, timing, date of the run, screenshot of your e-bib.
  5. Substitution and swapping of categories are NOT allowed, so careful selection of eligible category according to age qualification is advices. Re-registrations does not entitle the Participant to any form of refund.
  6. Substitution and exchanging of T-Shirt sizes are NOT allowed after registration.


Race Kit

  1. All race kit that are not collected during the stipulated collection date will be deemed as unwanted and the Organizer shall be at liberty to dispose or re-distribute them accordingly. There will be NO distribution of race kits on the Event Day.
  2. The Organizer is NOT responsible for any undelivered Finisher Entitlement due to: incorrect or incomplete delivery address and/or unavailability of receiver at the delivery address.


Event Participation

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to any applicant under the age of 16 for 10KM & 18KM.
  2. Bib given to the participants during the Entry Pack Collection are compulsory to be always worn during the Event. Entry will be prohibited otherwise.
  3. While every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organizer to ensure the participants safety, participants attending the event is solely at their own risk and the Organizer will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death however arising from training for, during or after participation in the Event. Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and/or to consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual Event day.
  4. It is the sole responsibility of every participant to inform the medical staff/safety marshal of the session regarding any injury or reason that they cannot exercise.
  5. Should any participant feel fatigue, restless, or an injury at any time during or before the session, they must immediately inform the medical staff/safety marshal and refrain from joining the session.
  6. Participant must retire from the session immediately, if required to do so by any member of the official medical staff/safety marshal.
  7. The Organizer cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged or stolen property during the session.
  8. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Rules and Regulations of the Event which will be reflected on the Event's Registration Platform and it is the responsibility of all the participants to keep abreast with any changes.
  9. Participants who do not start within fifteen (15) minutes from the Flag-off Time will be disqualified and for safety reasons may not be allowed to start.
  10. The Organizer reserves the right to change the date, venue or to cancel the Event at any time without prior notice to the participants, in which case the Organizer will make every effort to inform the participants prior to the Date. If the Event must be cancelled, there shall be NO refund of fees and the Organizer shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused.
  11. The Organizer is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of user communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or traffic congestion on the internet and/or the Event's Official Website.
  12. Participants must ensure that they have read and understood the Personal Data Protection Notice on the collection, retention, use, disclosure and management of the Participant's personal data. By reading and agreeing to it, Participants agree to authorize and allow the Organizer and/or any of its subsidiary companies to collect, retain, use and disclose the Participant's personal data for the purposes mentioned in the Personal Data Protection Notice.



    Assumption of Risks, Waiver & Release of Liability

  13. Participants accepts and agrees that the Event carrier certain inherent danger and risks which may or may not be readily foreseeable, including without limitation to personal injury, damage to property, or death and his/her participation in the Event is voluntarily in spite of the potential risks and danger.
  14. Participants warrants that he/she is in good physical condition and have sufficient preparation and is able to safely participate in the Event. The Participant is fully aware of the risks and hazards inherent in participating in the Event, including the possibilities of serious physical trauma, injury or death.
  15. In consideration of the Organizer allowing or accepting (without liability) the Participant to participate in any way in the Event and/or activities registered through the Official Website, the Participant (which include his/her heirs, personal representatives, executors and administrators), shall be deemed to have agreed as follows:
    a) accept and assume all the risks and dangers and any potential rosks and dangers in connection with the Participant’s participation in the Event
    b) to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, none of the Organizer, online registration company, sub-contractors, all municipal agencies and relevant authority whose property or personnel are used, all sponsors, co-sponsors and other companies, parties and individuals related to the Event, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, volunteers, related corporations, subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively “Releasees”) shall be responsible or liable in any manner for any costs, expenses, loss, damages, liabilities, injury or death caused by participation in the Event
    c) fully and forever releases the Releasees from all and any liability of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising, including any negligent rescue operation and any other form of negligence and is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by applicable laws in Malaysia in which the event in conducted
    d) waives and relinquishes the right to sue or take any action or proceeding against the Releasees (or any of them) for any and all claims, demands, losses or damages of the Participant on account of any injury, death, damage to property or any other cause of action, which is caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence, fault, act or omission of the Releasees (or any of them) or otherwise
  16. The decision of the Organizer on all any matter in connection with the Event shall be final and binding. 
  17. The Rules and Regulations and all documents concerning the Event shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the law of Malaysia. By registering for the Event, the Participant shall be deemed to have agreed to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia.
